Discover the beauty of Port Stephens aboard Wangi Queen!

Wangi Queen is a charming 1922 ferry, launched at Empire Bay on the Central Coast two weeks after the State Funeral of Australian poet Henry Lawson. She worked on Sydney Harbour for 52 years, then for 37 years as the wedding / party boat of Lake Macquarie!

Now based in Lemon Tree Passage, our scenic cruises showcase the stunning coves and islands of Port Stephens. Enjoy breathtaking views and friendly commentary on local landmarks, local stories and the early settlement history of the area.

Our passage plan includes Soldiers Point, Boondabah Island, beautiful Fame Cove and North Arm Cove, Garden Island and the historic estate of Tahlee and Carrington (the birthplace of The Australian Agricultural Company). On our return journey we swing by the stunning rainforest and native bird habitat of Snapper Island.

Whether you’re a local looking for a new way to experience the beauty of where you live, or a visitor seeking a new adventure, our tours have something for everyone.

We have a licensed bar and cafe on board. If planning a birthday party or anniversary celebration, you can hire the vessel for private cruise, or we can reserve a section on the upper or lower deck, depending on number of guests.

For group bookings or general enquiries contact Teresa on 0411 388 380.
