Many thanks for a beautiful day aboard the Wangi Queen. Jim and I had a great time, spoke to friendly people, and enjoyed a delicious lunch. The bay was calm and we learned a lot with your commentary.  Thank you so much.  Nola and Jim.

Carers accompanying a Companion Card Holder are welcome to join us free of charge. If you wish to have lunch during the cruise, the cost is $25 for a two course meal. For more information call 0411 388 380.

We look forward to welcoming you aboard

At Wangi Queen, we hold a deep respect and admiration for the bravery and sacrifices made by the men and women of the Australian Defence Force. Our commitment to giving back to the defence and veteran community stems from our rich historical connection to the service members who defended our nation.

During WWII Wangi Queen – then known as “The Star of Ettalong” – played a small and important role in the war effort. From 1938 to 1945 she assisted with the movement of thousands of defence personnel to and from naval bases and moored ships around Woolloomooloo Bay, Farm Cove, Sydney Cove, and Darling Harbour, providing a vital service during a time of great need. This period in our history is a source of immense pride for us, as we reflect on the courage and dedication of those who served.

By offering special discounts to defence and veteran personnel, we aim to honour the legacy of our vessel and the servicemen and women who travelled aboard “The Star” during the war. This gesture is a small token of our gratitude for their unwavering commitment to protecting our freedom and way of life.

We warmly welcome all defence and veteran community members aboard Wangi Queen. As you enjoy a scenic cruise around the western harbour of Port Stephens, we hope you feel the deep appreciation we have for your service. Thank you for your dedication, and we look forward to welcoming you aboard.

Our Veteran discount extends to current and former members of the Australian Defence Force, and their immediate family. To book call 0411 388 380.
