Where do Cruises depart?

Most cruises depart from Lemon Tree Passage and Taylors Beach in Port Stephens. We also run cruises out of Karuah each month on selected dates. Boarding details are listed on each cruise page.

Is free parking available?

Yes — free all day parking is available at all our departure locations in Lemon Tree Passage, Taylors Beach and Karuah.

Is the vessel wheelchair accessible?

Wangi Queen is accessible for walkers and small wheelchairs. Please contact us prior to booking so we can discuss your requirements.

Are toilets on board?

Yes — our toilet facilities are available located on the lower deck for guests use throughout the cruise.

What happens in bad weather?

Cruises operate in most weather conditions. If severe weather affects safety or comfort, we may reschedule or cancel the cruise and contact guests directly.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards and bank transfers for your convenience. On board, we accept credit card and cash payments at the bar.

Can dietary needs be catered for?

Yes — we can cater for vegetarian, pescatarian, coeliac, gluten-free and lactose-free dietary requirements with advance notice. Please let us know your requirements when booking.

Is the cruise suitable for children?

Absolutely! Families and children are very welcome aboard Wangi Queen. In fact, our crew can organise a fun treasure hunt and colouring activities for children of suitable ages.

Can I bring a walker or pram?

Yes — walkers and small prams and strollers can be accommodated onboard.

Can I buy drinks onboard?

Yes — we have a fully licensed bar and café onboard serving alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, tea, coffee and snacks. Please note, BYO is not permitted.

Are dolphins guaranteed?

Dolphins are often spotted during our cruises, however as they are wild animals we cannot guarantee sightings!

What if I get seasick?

Our cruises operate mainly within the calm western harbour of Port Stephens, where conditions are usually very gentle. If you are concerned, we recommend taking motion sickness tablets before boarding.

How early should we arrive?

Boarding commences 15 minutes prior to departure. Please allow additional time for parking and walking to the boarding location.

If boarding at Lemon Tree Passage, why not arrive a little earlier and enjoy a browse through the lovely Tilligerry Emporium, located directly opposite the wharf! Simply mention Wangi Queen to receive 10% off non-sale items.

Is there air conditioning?

Wangi Queen features open-air decks and covered areas designed to capture the beautiful harbour breezes. Windows are opened or closed according to weather conditions. During winter, the vessel remains warm and comfortable; however, we recommend dressing appropriately for the weather.
